How much can a farmer expect to earn?

The following profiles are taken from farmers who have already joined Soil Capital Carbon.
While no two farms are the same, they provide useful real-life illustrations as you consider your
earning potential. You receive a minimum of £23 per tonne of carbon. This amount increases directly with the price of carbon.

Regenerative/organic

FARMER 1

285 Ha - 2.02% MO
Wheat, durum wheat, silage maize,...

Conventional

Cover crops 19% of the rotation
Organic fertilisation 0%
Tillage 100% ploughed

Year 1 gain** = Min. £4,010

What do our farmers think?
