Our Story
Soil Capital was founded as an independent agronomy firm in 2013 by three farming and finance professionals.
2013
Origins
Since we began as farm managers and advisers, our inspiration has always been that agricultural practices that improve soil health also provide superior farm profitability.
2014 – 2018
Field experience
Over the years, we have worked as advisers and managers on over 200,000 hectares of farmland in transition to more profitable and regenerative agriculture. These commitments have taken us to more than 15 countries on at least 4 continents.
2019
Soil Capital Carbon
Soil Capital focused on creating a European carbon payment programme to accelerate the regenerative transition of many more farmers.
2021
Soil Capital Farming
Our advisory and management activities continue under a different entity – Soil Capital Farming. Our drive to align the economic and environmental outcomes of farmers is stronger than ever.
